(Disponible en anglais seulement) Alex Gloor is an articling student in Gowlings’ Ottawa office.
Alex graduated with a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he won numerous awards for his academic achievements. Alex also participated in multiple lawyering competitions, such as the Copenhagen Competition on access to medicine and the Harold G. Fox intellectual property moot, in which his team won the prize for the best factum. While at Osgoode, Alex volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, with the community and legal aid services program and he acted as a student editor of the “IPilogue” blog with IP Osgoode.
Prior to law school, Alex graduated with a BSc, (Hons) in chemistry from the University of Western Ontario. During this time, he worked as a researcher in a chemical engineering laboratory.
