Ben Westelman is an associate in Gowlings’ Toronto office and a member of the Firm's Corporate Finance and M&A Group.

Ben's practice is focused on general corporate commercial matters and commercial transactions, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and contract negotiations for both private and public companies in a diverse range of industry sectors, including technology, telecommunications, online classifieds and auctions, prepaid products, advertising, and manufacturing.

Ben assists a variety of clients in the online space (including the world’s largest online auction marketplace, and a number of different advertisers, publishers, ad networks and developers) navigate issues relating to, among other things, banner advertising, data use, API access and use, trading desks, demand side platforms, applications, content integration, sponsored listings and search engine optimization.
