Carl Turner is a partner at Gowlings' Toronto office and a member of the Firm's Business Law, China, Manufacturing and Transportation Groups. Carl is also chair of the Firm's Consumer Finance and Cards Group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financing, reorganizations, shareholder and partnership and consumer finance and cards matters.

Carl has worked extensively with both domestic and international clients in the air cargo, transportation, technology, telecommunications, automotive, food and food services, finance and consumer finance industries, among others.

Prior to joining Gowlings, Carl worked at the Centre for Trade Policy and Law and Agriculture Canada's International Trade Policy Directorate.
