Cristie Sutherland is Director of Student and Associate Programs for Gowlings' Calgary office.

In this role, Cristie oversees the recruitment, orientation, integration, mentoring, and evaluation programs for students and associates in Gowlings' Calgary office. She also directs the office’s liaison activities with law schools, law students, and law student organizations.

After completing her articles with Gowlings’ Calgary office, Cristie joined the Employment and Labour practice group as an associate in 2003.  She moved to Toronto in September, 2004 and spent  several years practicing as an associate in Gowlings’ Toronto office before returning to Calgary in 2010.  Cristie assumed the role of Director of Student and Associate Programs for Calgary in April, 2011.
