(Disponible en anglais seulement) Erica Maidment is an articling student in Gowlings' Toronto office.
Erica recently completed her LLM requirements at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, specifically in the fields of international and European law. While studying in Lyon, she served as student coach to the law school’s European Law Moot team, which placed second in the regional finals in Zagreb.
Erica graduated from the joint law and public administration program at Queen’s University in 2011. She was submissions editor for the Queen’s Law Journal in 2009-2010, and she was an oralist for the winning Queen’s team at the bilingual Laskin Memorial Moot Court Competition in 2009. Erica received her masters of public administration (MPA) degree in 2008 and worked for the Government of Canada in the Policy Research Initiative. From 2008-2010, she served as the Canadian administrator for the Canada-U.K. Colloquium, a high-level international policy conference.
As an undergraduate student, Erica received the History Medal for highest academic standing in the history program at Queen’s University.
