(Disponible en anglais seulement) Dr. Hans Schroeder is a partner in Gowlings' Ottawa office and provides strategic advice to pharmaceutical, life science, chemical and biotechnology companies in respect of patent protection, due diligence and portfolio management.
With a strong and diverse scientific background, Hans provides patent drafting and prosecution services for all subject matter areas of biotechnology including medical devices, pharmaceuticals and therapeutics, molecular biology, microbiology and immunology, bioinformatics and nanotechnology.
In addition to the services provided in specialized areas of biotechnology, Hans also has significant experience in more traditional subject matter areas such as general chemistry, chemical and mechanical engineering fields including the drafting and prosecution of complex oil and gas patents and other chemical engineering applications.
Hans is the co-leader of the Gowlings Chemical Group.
