Ilene Solomon is an articling student in Gowlings' Toronto office.

Ilene graduated from the University of Toronto with a Juris Doctor. During her studies, Ilene was a mentor in the Peer Mentorship Program, where she helped first year students transition into law school. She also acted as co-chair of the Senators Club for mature students and was a resident junior fellow at Massey College.

Ilene received her BA from Yale University with a major in art. Prior to entering law school, she worked as a paralegal at a large legal services agency in Boston and as a designer at well-respected design firms in the United States and Canada. Ilene also taught English in Seoul and worked in the public relations department of a large charitable organization while in Korea.
