Ioana Luca is an associate in Gowlings' Calgary office practising in the corporate finance and M&A group. Her practice focuses on corporate and securities transactions.

Prior to joining Gowlings, Ioana was employed at a global asset management company. As an in-house counsel and compliance officer, she engaged in a broad practice with a focus on negotiating investment managment agreements with new clients and ensuring the company's compliance with corporate and securities laws across Canada.

Ioana is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian and Portuguese.
