NOS GENS

John Illingworth is a partner in the Employment and Labour Group in the Waterloo office. His practice includes a broad range of labour and employment issues, with a special focus on labour relations, workers' compensation and occupational health and safety.

John has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, and has acted on matters before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. He routinely represents clients at various administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Commission and Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

John was honoured to be named the 2006 recipient of the Ontario Accommodation Association's Significant Service Award, for his work with the Association and its hotel and innkeeping members.
