John has extensive experience in local and multi-jurisdictional bank financings. This experience includes the preparation, negotiation and review of loan agreements, inter-lender agreements, priority and subordination agreements, debentures, general security agreements, mortgages, commercial leases and a wide range of other commercial and corporate documents.

John has experience in numerous insolvency and default situations involving the preparation and negotiation of work-out, settlement and forbearance agreements, vetting lender's security and the enforcement of lender's security including the appointment of receivers and trustees in bankruptcy, foreclosures and general collection work. John has also assisted clients with both the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties, conducting numerous title reviews of oil and gas properties required in connection with sale transactions and financings. John regularly provides general opinion work and advice to clients on banking, insolvency and other related commercial matters.
