(Disponible en anglais seulement) Jordan Duplessis is a student-at-law with Gowlings’ Ottawa office.
Jordan is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. During his studies, Jordan participated in several appellate level moot competitions as well as a mediation competition as a part of the alternative dispute resolution course.
Prior to law school, Jordan worked in the nuclear industry specializing in criticality safety analysis, where he verified models designed for spent nuclear fuel storage. He was also involved in the commissioning of medical isotope reactors and acted as a contract officer for a project involving CANDU technology. Jordan also began research into diffraction pattern differentiation of healthy tissue versus cancerous tissue using low-angle, low-energy x-rays while a Master’s student at Laurentian University.
