(Disponible en anglais seulement) Lori Hall is a partner and Trade-Mark National Practice Group office head in the Gowlings' Hamilton office. She is a member of the Technology and Intellectual Property Law Groups, where she practices exclusively in the area of trade-marks. As a registered trade-mark agent, Lori advises clients on all aspects of trade-mark prosecution, including advising clients on the registrability and availability of trade-marks, the prosecution of applications, opposition and expungement proceedings, packaging review and rights transfer. In her practice, Lori enforces clients' trade-mark rights in Canada and abroad. She regularly represents foreign IP firms to obtain protection of their clients’ trade-marks in Canada. Lori has spoken on various Canadian trade-mark topics including a presentation at the Forum for Certification Marks in Chengdu, China in 2007.
Lori is a member of the Burlington Chapter of ViaTech, a panel of advisors from a variety of professional service firms that provides consultation to emerging technology companies on business strategies.
