(Disponible en anglais seulement) Mark Crane is an associate in the advocacy department of Gowlings’ Toronto office. He is a member of Gowlings’ Commercial Litigation Group.
Mark’s commercial litigation practice includes matters relating to shareholder disputes, fraud and conspiracy, fiduciary duty matters, contractual disputes and negligence claims. Mark represents clients across a broad range of industries, including banking and financial services, construction-engineering, petroleum, energy and the public sector. Mark has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario.
Mark’s administrative law experience includes serving as counsel to OREA and their panel members in the context of arbitration appeals, and having represented a party at a large provincial public inquiry.
While completing his MBA, Mark spent several co-op work rotations in large regional and multinational corporations working on credit risk analysis, investor relations, and equity derivatives. Before articling with Gowlings, Mark spent a summer as a law clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Prior to entering law school Mark practiced as a management consultant at a global consulting firm.
