(Disponible en anglais seulement) Mark Faassen is a student-at-law in Gowlings’ Ottawa office.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. As a student, Mark interned with the legal directorate of the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission and the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest clinic. During law school, Mark was a contributor to the newspaper Inter Pares, worked as a research assistant, and was an associate editor in copyright and trade-marks for an intellectual property case law reporter.
Prior to entering law, Mark worked in visual research and rights clearance for documentary films at a television production company. He interned with the publicity and promotion department of Columbia Tri-Star Films Canada, with the public relations firm The Publicity Group and with a Canadian broadcasting public policy and advocacy group.
