Melanie Fakas is a law clerk in Gowlings' Calgary office, working in corporate law. She has experience in a variety of corporate-related transactions, including tax reorganizations, acquisitions and mergers. 

Melanie also assists our lawyers with respect to share transfers, share redemptions/repurchases incorporations, extra provincial registrations, dissolutions, revivals, amendments, trade names, partnerships and limited partnerships and dividend declarations. She also conducts minute book reviews, including the preparing of rectification registrations.

Melanie has been working in the legal field primarily in corporate law for 15 years. She has provided assistance directly to the Firm's corporate clients and worked alongside the Firm's professionals since 1999.
