Monique Pettigrew is an associate in Gowlings’ London office practising in the Energy, Infrastructure and Mining Group.

Monique has broad experience in the fields of structured finance, capital markets, financial services and regulatory law, both contentious and non-contentious.  She has managed transaction teams and has acted as legal liaison for banking desks and clients in global cross-border syndicated debt financing transactions.

Prior to joining Gowlings, Monique was a senior counsel in a top American international investment bank, an associate in the London office of a leading international law firm and an associate at a large Canadian law firm in Toronto.

Monique also has experience in government relations, advocating on behalf of clients and providing them with strategic advice and policy analysis in primary sectors, emerging industries and public private partnerships.

Monique is qualified in England and Wales, New York and Ontario, Canada.
