(Disponible en anglais seulement) Roshni Vaz is an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) consultant in Gowlings’ Toronto office. She is a member of the OHS and Employment & Labour National Practice Groups. Roshni provides consulting, training, litigation support for employers, organizations and industry associations across Canada.
Roshni’s expertise is in the industrial and construction sectors, specializing specifically in occupational health and safety law and workers’ compensation. Roshni is able to assist clients in completing risk assessments, compliance audits, accident investigations and claims reporting as well as implementing a return to work program to help reduce compensation costs and decrease undue hardship to the worker. Roshni’s passion for safety and attention to detail will help clients identify gaps and ensure an effective safety management system is achieved.
When completing her undergraduate degree in OHS, Roshni worked for a multi-national food manufacturer, a chemical manufacturer, and in the public sector. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, Roshni worked for a large Canadian window manufacturer and a multi-national automaker. With over seven years of field experience, and an impressive line up of employers, her diversified experience and education will quickly contribute to the needs of any client.
Roshni received her Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation in 2008.
