(Disponible en anglais seulement) Ryan is an articling student in Gowlings’ Vancouver office.
Ryan attended Simon Fraser University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a major in history. He then went on to obtain a Juris Doctor degree at the University of British Columbia. During the course of his post-secondary studies, Ryan was the recipient of a number of scholarships and academic distinctions, and was involved in a wide array of research projects for various professors.
Prior to starting his post-secondary studies, Ryan gained unique and varied work experience in the ski and snowboard, forestry, oil and gas and tourism industries. It is because of this experience that he is interested in a wide array of areas, including corporate finance, commercial, real estate and employment and labour law matters.
Ryan joined Gowlings as a summer student in 2010.
