Sean Morrison is an associate in Gowlings' Hamilton office practising in the areas of financial services, and business law.

Sean acts for both lenders and borrowers in secured financing transactions and has experience in asset backed financings. He represents a broad range of clients, including banks and other major financial institutions.

Sean has been involved in numerous corporate and commercial matters including asset and share purchase transactions, lease reviews, advising corporations on issues related to governance and employment law, and has experience acting in the role of in-house counsel for an international corporation.

Sean also has experience advising municipalities and other bodies on governance issues, working with public authorities on expropriation matters, advising private bodies with regards to planning issues, and has experience with various administrative tribunals. He is knowledgeable with respect to the Planning Act , the Expropriations Act, and the Municipal Act.
