Susan Rowat is a law clerk in Gowlings Ottawa office and works in the advocacy department.  Her specialty is family law.

Susan has over ten years experience in family law matters.  She prepares all documentation related to financial statements, net family property statements, affidavits of documents, orders, garnishments, liens, the Family Responsibility Office, the Interjurisdictional Support Office, procedural motions and trials in the Ottawa Superior Court of Justice.  She has extensive knowledge of procedures under the Family Law Rules as well as knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure. 

Prior to joining Gowlings, Susan worked with small and medium-sized law firms in Ottawa in the areas of real estate, corporate, corporate commercial, civil litigation, wills and estates.
