(Disponible en anglais seulement) Suzanne Brunet is a law clerk in Gowlings’ Ottawa office, working in the advocacy department.
Suzanne has over 28 years of experience in civil litigation. Since joining our firm in 2007, she has been specializing in the area of medical defence litigation. Suzanne attends to the high volume of document management needs of our Ottawa based Medical Defence Practice Group and prepares chronologies of medical records, drafts statements of defence, motion materials, affidavits of documents, mediation briefs and pre-trial conference briefs. She also summarizes examination for discovery transcripts and follows up on undertakings. Suzanne liaises with the medical experts retained to provide opinions on medical defence matters.
Suzanne has an extensive working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and is fluently bilingual.
