(Disponible en anglais seulement) Thomasina Carroll is a senior paralegal in Gowlings’ Vancouver office. She provides assistance to lawyers in the Intellectual Property Law Group with respect to all aspects of trade-mark prosecution in Canada, the United States and around the world.
Thomasina has 20 years of experience as a paralegal in the area of intellectual property. She drafts documents for opposition proceedings, summary cancellation proceedings, trade-mark licensing and transfer, as well as security interests. She also assists in conducting due diligence investigations relating to passing off matters, corporate reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions.
Thomasina has been involved extensively with the international trade-mark strategy for several large corporations and international organizations. She is familiar with trade-mark filing requirements and prosecution practices of many countries and has regularly collaborated with foreign associates to secure protection of their brand and trade-marks overseas.
