Alex Zavaglia is an associate practising in Gowlings’ advocacy department, handling matters in the following areas:

• competition/anti-trust litigation
• securities litigation and regulatory matters before the OSC
• class actions
• banking fraud litigation
• contract disputes
• negligence claims

Alex is part of a project team that monitors new developments in banking litigation, and provides analysis on trends in banking regulation, consumer protections, and class action suits in Canada and the United States.

Alex has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court.
