OUR PEOPLE

Alexander Lalka is an associate in Gowlings' Toronto office, practising in the areas of corporate and securities law. His practice includes general corporate matters as well as acquisition and financing transactions. He is also a member of Gowlings’ National Corporate Finance and M&A Practice Group.

Alexander joined the Firm as a summer student in 2005 and returned for his articles in 2006 after obtaining his LLB. Prior to law school, Alexander had the experience of working in different levels of government, holding positions in the Premier’s office at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as well as in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition at the House of Commons in Ottawa.

Alexander is conversant in Ukrainian.
