Arne Fors is a partner in Gowlings' Toronto office with over 25 years of experience in the area of patents and trade-marks. A Canadian lawyer and registered patent and trade-mark agent in Canada and the U.S., his particular areas of specialization in intellectual property include metallurgical, chemical and mechanical patents as well as trade-marks, industrial design, copyright and licensing.

Arne's advocacy work primarily relates to appeals before Canadian and U.S. Boards of Appeals in patent and trade-mark matters.

Prior to joining Gowlings, Arne was engaged in practice with two other firms for a combined total of 21 years.
