Benjamin has appeared before all levels of the court in Ontario and has appeared as counsel before the Federal Court, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the U.S. District Court and various administrative tribunals.

Benjamin's practice includes commencing and responding to injunctions, oppression actions and derivative applications in connection with claims regarding negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and corporate governance issues. He has acted for investment advisers and brokerage firms involving the governance of the brokerage and investment industry, including licensing and investigation issues, duties and obligations of advisers and compliance officers as well as mediation, arbitration, disciplinary and compliance hearings.

Benjamin also acts on behalf of financial institutions and commercial lenders pursuing various types of injunctive relief and the recovery of assets and loans related to fraud and auditors' negligence matters.
