Brian J. Kearl is a partner in Gowlings’ Calgary office where he practises in all areas of tax law, including tax litigation and commodity tax. Brian advises clients on tax issues and planning techniques related to small and medium sized business, corporate and commercial transactions and cross border migrations and transactions.

He has represented clients at all stages of the tax dispute resolution process, including Canada Revenue Agency audits and objections, Tax Court of Canada appeals and Federal Court actions.

Before joining Gowlings, Brian practiced with a tax boutique firm in Calgary.
