Caryn Narvey is an associate in Gowlings' Calgary office, practising in the area of commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation. Caryn practises in a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, with emphasis on financial institutions, issues involving employee obligations, civil fraud, class-action proceedings and corporate remedies. Caryn's practice includes experience in mortgage fraud and money laundering. Caryn also practises in the intellectual property litigation group, which includes her involvement in patent, trade-mark and copyright disputes, and litigation involving the misappropriation of confidential information.
Caryn has appeared before the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen's Bench and the Court of Appeal in Alberta. Caryn has also been successful in her written submissions before the Supreme Court of Canada. Caryn's presentations include:
