Cathy Chandler is an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) consultant in Gowlings' Toronto office, specializing in occupational health and safety law and workers’ compensation. She provides consulting, training and litigation support for employers, organizations and industry associations across Canada.
Cathy has conducted numerous seminars for clients on how to practically comply with OHS legislation. She is frequently engaged to perform gap analysis audits to determine client’s legal compliance with OHS legislation. She has developed numerous workplace specific policies, procedures and training programs for clients in the area of OHS and workers' compensation claims management.
Cathy received her Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation in 2003 and her Certified Health and Safety Consultant designation in 2009. Cathy is a frequent presenter at Gowlings' scheduled and in-house seminars and courses across Canada in the area of occupational health and safety and workers' compensation including:
