Charles-Antoine Robitaille practises in corporate and commercial law with a particular emphasis on acquisitions and divestitures of businesses and the drafting and negotiating of various commercial agreements. Mr. Robitaille also advises clients on legal aspects of infrastructure and energy related projects and the negotiation and execution of construction and service agreements related to these projects. He also sits on Montréal’s Student and Articling Committee.

Before joining Gowlings in 2000, Mr. Robitaille acted as Corporate Counsel for a major oil company in Montréal and San Antonio, Texas. Over the past few years, he has acted for large Canadian and International corporations in acquisitions and divestitures of businesses in Canada, the U.S. and other countries.

Mr. Robitaille regularly advises and represents large U.S. and international corporations on the acquisition of businesses or the carrying on of their business in the province of Québec and in Canada.

He also advises major Québec based clients in the energy and natural resources sector on a wide range of legal issues related to their business and to their major projects.

He practises law in both English and French.
