Christina Albers is a law clerk in Gowlings' Ottawa office working in the business law department.

Christina specializes in a variety of real property acquisitions and real property financing matters.  She prepares and completes all due diligence, security and ancillary documentation for multi-unit residential and commercial financing transactions, including all documentation required to complete real property options, purchases, and to facilitate the ongoing use and development of real property.

With eight years experience in real estate and financing transactions, Christina has extensive knowledge of title matters and registration requirements relating to properties governed by both the Land Titles Act and the Registry Act, and of due diligence requirements for vacant or development land, commercial properties and multi-unit residential properties.  She is also responsible for the organization and ongoing management of commercial financing files, including portfolios which include properties across Ontario.

Prior to joining Gowlings' Christina worked as a title searcher before moving to a high volume residential conveyancing practice as well as assisting with numerous real estate acquisitions and real based financing transactions for small businesses.
