Cristin Wagner is a partner in Gowlings’ Ottawa office and is a member of the Firm’s intellectual property department. Her practice specializes in the areas of patents, trade-marks and copyright, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical litigation.
Cristin appears regularly before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal representing clients in patent infringement actions and in applications under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. She has been co-counsel on leading cases on patent law in Canada including the Supreme Court of Canada decision Apotex Inc. v.Sanofi-Synthelabo Canada Inc. 2008 SCC 61 and Eli Lilly Canada Inc. v. Novopharm Limited 2010 FCA 197.
