David Bishop is a partner in Gowlings’ Calgary office practising in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defence, professional liability and product liability work including the defence of design professionals, surveyors and contractors in a construction context.

David has appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal in Alberta, as well as the Court of Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal of Manitoba. He has also participated in NAFTA Binational Canada/U.S. and Canada/Mexico Free Trade Dispute Resolution Hearings.
