Dom Glavota is a partner in Gowlings' Hamilton office and a member of the Firm’s Financial Services Group. His practice includes lending, restructuring and insolvency, real estate and general corporate commercial transactions.
Dom acts for both lenders and borrowers in secured financing transactions, restructurings and has experience in asset backed financings. He represents a broad range of clients, including banks and other major financial institutions on both domestic and cross border transactions.
Most recently, Dom was part of the Gowlings team that represented Bank of Montreal with respect to the amendment of the terms and conditions governing the Menu Foods Income Fund’s revolving debt and senior secured note facilities. He was also part of the team representing a syndicate of lenders comprised of The Toronto Dominion Bank, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Bank of Montreal in their provision of a senior term credit facility to Glacier Ventures International Corp. to finalize the acquisition of the Canadian operations of Hollinger International.
