Eric Loree is an associate in the Corporate Finance, Securities and M&A Group in Gowlings’ Toronto office. Eric's practice includes acquisition and financing transactions in a diverse range of industry sectors. He also advises clients on regulatory compliance and general corporate matters.
Eric was seconded to a Canadian stock exchange where, as a manager of listed issuer services, he was responsible for analyzing applicant issuer compliance with the legal, financial and business requirements for listing on the Exchange. During his secondment, Eric gained specialized knowledge of the Exchange's policies; particularly as they relate to listings by way of IPO, qualifying transaction and reverse takeover.
Eric’s articles included a secondment to the take-over/issuer bids, mergers & acquisitions group of a provincial securities regulator. Eric has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.
