OUR PEOPLE

Ethan Sinclair is an associate in Gowlings' Calgary office, practising in the Business Law Group with a focus on energy, oil sands, construction and employment law matters.

Ethan has experience advising clients with respect to project development, procurement, contract drafting, negotiating and administration, risk identification, evaluation and management in respect of oil sands development, project financing and asset acquisition and divestiture, including the preparation of mineral title opinions and corporate due diligence reports. Ethan also completed a three-month secondment at a large Canadian oil and gas company.

Ethan has assisted owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and engineering companies in the energy and construction industries with the drafting and negotiation of tendering and RFP documentation, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)agreements, sub-contract and supply agreements, equipment leases, employment and secondment agreements, parental guarantees and other forms of performance security.
