Gayle Lywood is a law clerk in Gowlings' Calgary office, working the corporate services department. She has been working in the legal field for over 20 years, and specialized solely in corporate law in Alberta since 2002. She has provided assistance directly to the Firm's corporate clients and worked alongside the Firm's professionals since 2006.

Gayle has experience in all aspects of corporate work ranging from simple incorporations, extra-provincial registrations, trade names, partnerships, limited partnerships, annual maintenance and names changes to more complex share transactions, dissolutions, continuances, amendments, amalgamations and revivals.

She also conducts minute book reviews, including the preparing of rectification registrations. Her extensive background experience has enabled her to be responsible in preparing closing documents for many reorganizations, including share redemption/repurchases, rollovers, share exhanges, and creations of trusts. She also has experience attending at closings and organizing record books.
