Giovanna Spataro is a partner in Gowlings’ Montréal office. A lawyer and a trademark agent, she practises in the area of intellectual property with an emphasis on trade-mark prosecution, portfolio management, licensing, litigation and domain name issues. She also sits on Montréal’s Student and Articling Committee.

Giovanna also advises clients with respect to advertising, packaging and labeling issues, as well as to the enforcement of the Charter of the French Language. In addition, she participates in due diligence analyses on behalf of investors.

She is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
