Giovanna Spataro joined Gowlings’ Montréal office in 2006. A lawyer and a trademark agent, she practises in the area of intellectual property with an emphasis on trade-mark prosecution, portfolio management, licensing, litigation and domain name issues.

Ms. Spataro also advises clients with respect to advertising, packaging and labeling issues, as well as to the enforcement of the Charter of the French Language. In addition, she participates in due diligence analyses on behalf of investors. She also sits on Montréal’s Student and Articling Committee.

Ms. Spataro is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
