Hélène D'Iorio is a partner in Gowlings' Montréal office and heads the office's intellectual property department. She specializes in intellectual property, including intellectual property litigation, patent, industrial design and trade-mark prosecution with particular emphasis on pharmaceutical, biotechnological and chemical matters. She is also a member of the Firm’s Montréal office Management Committee.

Hélène has a leading-edge expertise in pharmaceutical products. She advises her clients on international strategy and management of intellectual property portfolios and she has experience in technology licensing. She acts before the Federal Court of Canada. In addition to being a lawyer, she is a registered patent agent in Canada and in the United States.

She practises law in English and French.
