Isabel J. Raasch is a partner in Gowlings' Ottawa office where she practises in the area of patent litigation including infringement actions and proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. Isabel has over 10 years of experience in patent litigation and works with a wide range of clients, including members from the biotechnical, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors.

Prior to joining Gowlings in 2007, Isabel worked in New York City as an associate at a leading intellectual property firm. In that role, she focused on patent litigation in the U.S. Federal Courts primarily in the areas of patents relating to semiconductor devices and manufacturing, and computer systems and applications. She also worked on the negotiation and management of a large patent licensing program and conducted due diligence and opinion work.

Isabel is admitted to practice to the State of New York and is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
