OUR PEOPLE

Jacqueline Armstrong Gates is a partner in Gowlings' Waterloo region office specializing in civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial and banking litigation, insurance and professional liability and restructuring and insolvency. She has argued cases in the Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court and has represented parties at trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Furthermore, Jacqueline is a Lexpert Top 40 under 40 nominee.

Prior to joining Gowlings in 1999, Jaqueline practised at two major firms in Toronto and London.

She is the co-chair of the Firm's Business Development Committee, the Litigation Clerks' chair adviser and a mentor representative for the Waterloo Region office.
