Janet Howard is a partner in Gowlings' Toronto office and a member of the Business Law Group and the National Mining Group.

Janet's practice focuses on matters relating to the mining and natural resources sectors. She has also acted on a number of matters involving M&A transactions (including plans of arrangement, take-over bids and private and public company acquisitions and dispositions), advising public companies on continuous disclosure requirements (including NI 43-101), stock exchange listings, advising boards of directors and special committees, and the implementation of corporate governance structures and best practices.
