Jarrod Isfeld is a partner in Gowlings’ Calgary office, practising in the area of corporate finance, securities and M&A.

He advises public and private companies in connection with financings, M&A transactions, corporate governance matters, securities reporting and general regulatory compliance issues. In addition, Jarrod advises both private and public funds, trusts and partnerships in connection with a broad range of activities.  Jarrod also has extensive experience advising investment dealers in connection with marketed and bought financings as well as M&A transactions.  

Prior to joining Gowlings, Jarrod was a partner at a securities and corporate finance-focused boutique law firm.  He has provided advice to a wide variety of business sectors, in particular: oil & gas, cleantech, information technology, mineral exploration, software development and manufacturing. He is also a current and past director and officer of a number of private and public companies.

Jarrod is fluent in both English and Japanese.
