Jennifer Stam is a partner in Gowlings' Toronto office, practising in the area of corporate restructuring. Jennifer has experience in debtor restructurings as well as other bankruptcies and insolvencies including national, cross-border and international filings. She has acted for debtors, creditors, court officers and other stakeholders in a wide range of industries.
Jennifer's recent engagements include acting in local and international insolvency proceedings in the telecommunications, consumer products, banking, industrial, construction, retail and technology sectors.
Jennifer regularly publishes and speaks in this area of law. She is an officer of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights (SIRC) section of the International Bar Association and is an advisor to the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP).
