Jennifer Vermiere is the director of student and associate programs in Gowlings' Vancouver office.
In this role, Jennifer is responsible for the management of students and associates by overseeing their recruitment, orientation, integration, mentoring, and evaluation programs. She also directs the Vancouver office's liaison activities with law schools, law students and law student organizations.
Prior to assuming this role in December 2011, Jennifer was an associate practising in Gowlings' Employment and Labour Law and Commercial Litigation groups. Jennifer previously provided legal services to a local boutique employment law firm and provided human resources consulting, investigation services, and harassment workshops. She also worked for B.C.'s largest health authority where she was responsible for the development, implementation and facilitation of respectful workplace workshops to over 12,000 employees and managers.
