Julie is a partner in Gowlings' Montréal office, practising in commercial litigation group with a specialty in recovery as well as bankruptcy and insolvency law.

She acts for financial institutions in litigation cases and represents secured and unsecured creditors. She participates in many files concerning the realization of security on both moveable and immoveable property. She has appeared before the courts of Québec at all trial and appellate levels. In the course of her practice, Julie has also acted as an adviser for clients on construction law, title defect and professional liability matters.

In May 2000, Julie joined Lafleur Brown, Gowlings’ predecessor firm, as a student-at-law and also worked as an articling student in 2001.
