Karen Hamway is a partner in Gowlings' Ottawa office, practising in the areas of employment, labour, insurance and professional liability litigation, as well as related administrative tribunal work including human rights and professional discipline. She provides employers with the daily advice required to manage employment relationships and minimize the risk of disputes.

An experienced trial, appeal court and tribunal counsel, she is also active in alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation.

Karen is fluent in English and French.
