Karen Hennessey is an associate in Gowlings' Ottawa office, practising in the Business Law Group.

Karen's practice covers all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, franchising and drafting a range of general commercial agreements. She also assists business clients with respect to the incorporation, organization and financing of their companies, as well as shareholder, partnership, and joint-venture agreements.

Her practice covers a wide range of industries and she works with companies of all sizes, including start-ups, owner operated businesses and large national and multi-national corporations.

While at law school, Karen was the editor-in-chief of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues.
