Katie is an associate practising in the Advocacy Group at Gowlings' Calgary office. She specializes in litigation, with a focus on Medical Defence, and Insurance and Professional Liability.

Along with receiving her LL.B. from Dalhousie University, Katie graduated with a specialization certificate in Health Law and Policy. She also has a Masters in Science in Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University.

Prior to joining Gowlings as a summer and articling student, Katie summered with a major national firm focusing in the area of Intellectual Property.
