Kerrie Manderscheid is a patent coordinator in Gowlings' Vancouver office, working in the Intellectual Property department.
Kerry has over seven years of experience in Canadian and foreign patent practice, including Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) procedures, covering all aspects of patent filing and prosecution, as well as administrative and client services. She has extensive knowledge of both Canadian and foreign patent procedures and keeps current with legislative changes in various jurisdictions.

She also monitors all statutory deadlines on these portfolios.
Kerrie also prepares various submissions to the Canadian Intellectual Property Office including the preparation of filing and assignment documents, as well as prosecution-based correspondence such as requesting examination, preparing voluntary amendments and voluntary submissions, finalizing Office Action responses and attending to final fee payments, and reports these actions to the client.
Prior to joining Gowlings in 2011, Kerrie worked at a boutique IP firm in Vancouver for seven years.
